Floris van Bommel De Runner SFM-10153 lace-up shoe for men. The sole of this sneaker from the 'De Runner' line is inspired by sports shoes from the '80s. The sole is made of flexible TR with a wear-resistant tread. The stabilizer at the heel contributes to the sporty look of the shoe and at the same time provides comfortable support for the heel. The inside of the sneaker is finished with a leather lining and a removable footbed. This variant is made in cognac, brown and gray suedes. Beige textile with a felted look has been used for the side panels and the front panel, which matches the felt tongue label nicely.

That sports shoe slowly turned into a sneaker for everyday use 30 years ago. Most sneaker styles that we now see on the streets can no longer be traced back to their sporting origins. With the development of this 'Runner' sneaker, we have stayed super close to the shapes of a real functional sports shoe for a change. The sole in particular relies heavily on the soles that were on running shoes in the 1980s. Think of it as a kind of Back to the Future for your feet."
