Timberland
About Timberland
Timberland is shaped by the rugged nature of New England. The first shoes were designed by Nathan Swartz for workers who worked in difficult terrain. Nathan was already an experienced shoemaker and was the first to make waterproof boots. Together with his son Sidney and grandson Jeff, Timberland became a global company.
Timberland is inextricably linked to the 6-inch boat. The characteristic yellow boot was introduced a few years after the brand was founded and has been a bestseller ever since. The 'the original boot' has had several updates over the years but still exudes the same attitude and energy as in the early days. The durable construction with sealed seams keeps your feet just as warm and dry as they were forty years ago. Many generations have now worn a pair of 6-inch boots and you can shop this model for women, men and kids. Of course, Timberland makes much more than just the 6-inch boot. The brand has three lines: work, life and outdoor, making a clear distinction between functional and casual.
Designed to solve problems. Not only for people, but also thinking along with nature. An example of this is the Timberland ReBoTL technology. Since 2009, Timberland has given 345 million plastic bottles a new life by recycling the bottles into an environmentally friendly fabric used in shoes and jackets. This way, both we and future generations can continue to enjoy nature.
